Mission Experience
Body-worn and Vehicle Mounted Cameras
Nationwide camera fielding for frontline operators
Related capabilities: Security & Surveillance | Systems Integration
Challenge: Get body-worn and vehicle-mounted cameras into frontline operations across land, air, and port
environments, then keep the technology current.
C2C role: Domain SMEs supporting deployment, test, training, sustainment, and technology refresh as part
of the program team.
Scale / result: 18,000 systems fielded in eight months across multiple DHS Law Enforcement Agencies.
NII - Inspection systems ready for the port
Related capabilities: Systems Engineering & T&E | Security & Surveillance
Challenge: Evaluate new non-intrusive inspection technologies and prepare them for operational use at ports
of entry.
C2C role: SELC and acquisition support, performance testing at multiple operational sites, and training on eight
systems at 20+ sites.
Scale / result: More than 1,000 devices acquired for the field; 30+ inspection and detection systems evaluated
before deployment.
UGS - Ground sensors that stay in the fight
Related capabilities: Security & Surveillance | Mission Data Enablement
Challenge: Keep unattended ground sensors useful across remote and high-traffic terrain where inventory,
communications, maintenance, concealment, and operator familiarity all matter.
C2C role: Inventory, annual technology refresh, field engineering, handbook development, and agent training.
Scale / result: 5,000+ sensors inventoried across 85 USBP stations in 13 sectors; 150+ agents trained.
ADA - Anomaly detection aimed at fentanyl concealment
Related capabilities: Enterprise AI & Data Strategy | Mission Data Enablement
Challenge: Use AI to help officers identify concealed fentanyl in privately owned vehicles at Ports of Entry.
C2C role: Use-case design, model methodology, cloud environment, data pipelines, and a framework for field trials.
Scale / result: An operational prototype deployed in a cloud environment and a repeatable path for the next
detection use case.
CSS - Acquisition and engineering support across live technology programs
Customer: CBP Office of Acquisition - SED, LTA, and National Targeting Center task areas.
Related capabilities: Systems Engineering & T&E | Enterprise AI & Data Strategy
Challenge: Keep multiple technology programs moving through SELC and the Acquisition Lifecycle
Framework - requirements, documentation, T&E strategy, trade studies, and roadmaps.
C2C role: Engineering and acquisition support; requirements and systems-engineering artifacts; AI-readiness
methods; and tools that pull usable data from unstructured program records.
Scale / result: Support spanning more than 15 programs, including AI-enabled inspection, sensors, UAS, and
surveillance systems. Period of performance through 2030.
